A short note today to welcome you back after our mid-year hiatus. Our next Hacks/Hackers Brisbane meetup is all about the Paris Olympics & Paralympics. We will delve into how the Olympics have featured in data and interactive storytelling (and online culture as well). We've got a few folks lined up who have published stories in relation to this Olympics, they will cover their own work and that of their peers. Time permitting we may have a chance for you all to share other interesting examples as well.

From the weird statistics of medal ranking tables, through to armchair diving judging, this one will be a great bit of fun for all.
